ORGANIZATION PROFILE

                        Name: Simbu Adventist Students Association (SASA)

Established: 1989 (22 years in existence)

Affiliated Body: Papua New Guinea Adventist Tertiary Students Association (PNGATSA)

                        Objectives:                                              

                        Nature: Not-for-profit – faith-based organization (FBO)

                        Membership Composition:   Simbu students from primary to tertiary institutions nationwide and affiliated former students. 

                        Mission and Vision:                                                                                                   

                        SASA is committed  to actively lead and harness the God given abilities of young Simbu Adventist elites to spread the gospel of Christ Second Advent 

                        throughout the rugged terrain of Simbu Province through annual conventions and community service programs. The association is established to create an atmosphere for spiritual growth

                        and discipleship among its members while addressing other moral, health, social, political and economical problems in the society. It is SASA's ambition to evangelize the whole of Simbu 

                        through evangelistic crusades, building of churches, humanitarian work, educational seminars and consultations. SASA is also strategically placed to collaborate with the church, government

                        and NGOs in implementing crucial social campaigns and to mediate grievances where necessary while at large prepare people for the soon coming of Jesus Christ.
